PRACTICE LIKE THE PROS
Southwest Greens of Jacksonville is a trusted leader in the design, installation, and sale of low-maintenance, professional-grade synthetic golf greens. Our backyard putting greens have earned the trust of professional golfers including Vijay Singh, Rickie Fowler, Sam Burns, Jim Furyk, Fred Funk, and Hale Irwin, who have chosen custom Southwest Greens installations for their own homes.
MADE FOR YOUR HOME, CRAFTED FOR YOUR GAME
A Jacksonville home putting green earns its place in your backyard if it rolls like the genuine article. Every Jacksonville backyard putting green we construct begins with a site assessment of your space, your terrain, and how you actually want to use it, whether that's grooved practice on a single hole or a complete short-game setup with break, undulation, and multiple cup positions. The turf systems we specify are designed specifically for true ball roll and consistent speed, not merely a green-colored surface. Envision your own controlled shot zones, tee boxes, and greenside bunkers, all proportioned to fit your property.
LESS WORK, MORE PLAY
The maintenance gap between a synthetic backyard putting green and a natural one is considerable. There's no irrigation routine, no fertilizer, no chemical treatments, and no mower to manage. A routine brushing and clearing of debris is typically all it takes to keep the surface playing consistently, which means more time on practice and less time on upkeep. It also performs in weather that would keep a natural green out of commission.
BUILT TO LAST, BUILT TO INCREASE VALUE
A thoughtfully built home putting green does double duty: it's an amenity you enjoy often and one that elevates your property's appeal. That hinges on what happens below the surface as much as above it, our base work, drainage, cut positioning, and elevation planning are what help a green performing years in. This is also the moment where a backyard putting green stops being a standalone feature. We can continue the same synthetic turf into a connected Jacksonville artificial turf sports area, surrounding lawn, or bocce court, all part of a unified design and installation plan engineered for your property.
